During my recent Easter getaway at Hotel Victoria, I found myself enchanted by the charm of this older style building, complete with real keys and delightful old-fashioned light switches. The tasteful and comfortable furniture gave the room a warm, inviting feel that made it easy to settle in after a day of exploring nearby attractions. My favorite part was the balcony overlooking a quaint square—perfect for sipping tea while gazing at the mountain views under a full moon. The hotel’s proximity to engaging activities, like the Essarts Gondola just 300 metres away, meant we could easily dive into the stunning landscapes surrounding us. With each room equipped with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms stocked with free toiletries, I felt pampered yet at home, much like the welcoming ambiance of my own tea plantation in Galle. I recommend Hotel Victoria for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and authenticity in their travels, whether you’re with family or sharing a romantic escape. It's a hidden gem that beautifully captures the essence of relaxation amidst nature's splendor!
